Who We Serve:

The Career and Internship Services department assists students, during their time at Dominican, and as alumni.

What We Do:

We provide career development programs and services to empower students and alumni to develop skills for lifelong career satisfaction.

 

We provide career planning assistance on topics including:

  • Choosing a major (assessing values, skills, interests, preferences) 
  • Exploring career options
  • Finding an internship  
  • Conducting a job search
  • Informational Interviewing
  • Networking
  • Resume & cover letter building
  • Job interviews (preparation, mock interviews)
  • Graduate school
  • Career change/transition
  • Resources to connect students and employers

 

Not only do we provide workshops and other events on the previously mentioned topics, but we offer one-on-one career counseling by individual appointment and on a daily drop-in basis.
