Senior Commencement Fair

Dear Graduating Senior,

This letter is being sent to students who might be graduating in May, 2008. Some students will receive it who are not graduating. Nevertheless, I wanted to send this information to the possible graduates as early as possible. If you are receiving this letter and you are not graduating, please contact Simona Scotti in the Office of the Registrar.

Much of the information in this letter was included in a mailing to you last September. This letter will include updates to that information.

FUTURE COMMENCEMENT INFORMATION WILL BE SENT TO YOUR DOMINICAN EMAIL ACCOUNT.

For the first time, Dominican will offer a SENIOR COMMENCEMENT FAIR. It will be held on Saturday, March 1, 11:00AM-3:00PM in the Multi-Purpose Room of the Conlan Recreation Center. Representatives from various offices and vendors will be present to provide information about Commencement. Included will be the following:
 

• The Book Store  - To sell academic regalia (caps, gowns, hoods)
• The Registrar’s Office - To answer questions about audits and honors
• Career Services  - To help you plan for careers and grad school
• Graduate Admissions - For those thinking about Dominican’s graduate programs, this is an opportunity to learn more about the application process and the programs
• Herff-Jones  - For students who want to order graduation announcements, class rings, and other memorabilia
• Student Life - For students wanting to pick up tickets for seating if  Commencement is held indoors and to ask general questions about the graduation ceremony
