Be sure that your regalia package includes the black gown, which you should try on at the bookstore to make sure that it is a good fit, a mortarboard, which you will wear on your head, and the hood, a black garment with a colorful trim. Read the special section on hoods. You will want to have a hood with the appropriate color for the trim.
