Commencement Fair

Dominican University of California will host the first Commencement Fair for undergraduate and graduate students graduating in May 2008. The Fair brings together staff from various offices, the Bookstore, and outside vendors to make it possible to complete transactions related to graduation at a less stressful time than the last few weeks before Commencement. The following groups will be at the fair:

• The Bookstore Staff will be available to sell academic regalia (black gowns, mortarboards, hoods) and graduation memorabilia.
  You can purchase these items right up until the day before Commencement.
• Registrar’s Office Staff will answer questions about degree requirements.
• Career Services - The Director of this office will answer questions and set up appointments to work with you about careers and job  placement.
• Herff-Jones -  This vendor will provide information and show samples of  graduation announcements that you may order to send to friends and relatives.
• Student Life Staff will answer general questions about Commencement.
• Graduate Admissions You probably won’t need to stop here, but there will be grad  admissions staff there to answer questions from       undergraduates about admission to Dominican’s graduate degree programs.
