OUTREACH

OUTREACH is a student group who reach out to others

in community service projects.  Students organize the trips to various community agencies during the year.  Specific OUTREACH opportunities include:

 

St. Vincent Dining Room

Collecting for Food BankFeeding the poor of our community

 

 

Students work at St. Vincent's the first Monday of each month.  Students carpool from the Campus Ministry Office.  There is an orientation program required of all new volunteers.

Providing shelter, job training for the homeless and support for families

 

Volunteers are needed for childcare each week.  Homework, games, art projects are ways you can make a difference in a homeless child's life.  Check the schedule of time slots in the Campus Ministry office, contacting Sr. Carla, 415.257.0142 for details.

Cedars of Marin

Providing services for adults with developmental needs

Ritter Center

Ritter Center provides services for those who are living on the streets, such as showers, clothing, and other necessities.

Whistlestop Wheels

Whistlestop Wheels is a program to promote independence and well-being of senior citizens of Marin county by providing comprehensive integrated programs to enhance the quality of life.  Volunteers would help in the lunch programs and various activities at the Whistlestop Community Center
