Fanjeaux Hall

Built in 1927, Fanjeaux Hall is named after the French village where St. Dominic established the first convert of Dominican Sisters. The gray stone hall with a peaked roof and ivy-covered towers accommodates approximately 100 students from all classes; freshman, sophomores, juniors, and seniors. Besides students, Fanjeaux also houses the Fanjeaux Student Union, which is the headquarters for the Associated Students of Dominican University (ASDU) and the University Bookstore.

"Living in Fanjeaux was like sharing a room with your best friend and living next to your family. The fun, the arguments, the support, and the love were all there; all you had to do was knock."

- Adolfo Real Jr. Alumna '01, MBA '06
