Welcome Dominican Alumni and Alumnae!
This is an exciting time to be a part of Dominican University of California: Our Athletics programs are now competing at NCAA Division II level, enrollment has hit record numbers, the historic Edgehill Mansion has been restored and transformed into the Dominican Heritage and Alumni House, and the 2010 California Gubernatorial Debate between Governor Jerry Brown and Meg Whitman brought the University both national and international acclaim. We are a University on the move.
As Dominican looks toward the future and continues to improve its academic programs and facilities, it nevertheless stays Dominican at heart, committed to four Dominican ideals of Study, Community, Reflection, and Service. Whether you have been an alumnus for two or twenty years, you will notice, upon returning to the campus and talking to the students, faculty and staff, that Dominican remains as uniquely Dominican as you remember it.
If you are hoping to reconnect, we invite you to come to a basketball game, attend a mixer or become a mentor. Come and see for yourself why students from all over the world are choosing Dominican as their school of first choice.
We hope you’ll get back in touch and continue being part of this amazing place. We look forward to seeing you. Until then, connect with us online on Penguin Network (online community).
Sincerely,
Pepe Gonzalez ’02
